BUS
There is a bus that travels from Pukekohe to Mauku school and back daily. The morning bus is called F7 - it picks up at Seddon Street (by Blair Avenue) at 7.35, the corner of Kayes Road and Beatty Road at 7.40 am, 12 Montgomery Ave at 7.42am and 98 Victoria Street at 7.43 am. The afternoon bus follows the reverse route home and is called F1. It leaves school at 2.50 pm.
Bus payments MUST be made before your child can use this service. Automatic payments are the best option - Please enquire at the office.
LUNCH
Mauku School is a Health Promoting School. The Junior School students will have a 'Brain Food' snack of fruit at the mid morning fitness break.
We would like Parents to make sure students are given at least one piece of fruit a day. We allow only water bottles during class time.
All other lunch wrappers will be returned home in the child's lunchbox.
MUSIC LESSONS
Did you know we have Guitar, Keyboard and Piano lessons available at school? Our music teacher Karen McKerras takes classes during the day on a Thursday. Phone Karen for more information on 027 236 3236.
Swimming Pool
We are lucky enough to have a swimming pool on our grounds.
All classes have daily swimming lessons during terms one and four. School families can rent pool keys over the holidays if they wish.
